Backlog (October)

Greetings. I thought I'd try a little something to keep myself on track. Just my TODO list of bugs and new stuff I hope to finish up in October. Making this public to encourage some discussion as well as adding some transparency. Development is slow as you might have noticed, so I'm hoping this will help me just a little bit.

    + Fix combat button states not reset on new encounter
    + Don't perform change season palettes transition when underground
    + Fix footstep sounds in caves during winter
    + Limit cave digging to 4 cardinal directions only & limit digging to immediate neighbours only
    + Face characters towards the tile they are digging into
    + Fix climbing option not presented for some tiles
    - Finish up combat end animations and rewards
    + Add "claim river" option to river source tiles
    - Show selected character on sidebar when inventory window is open
    - Change tools equipped check when presenting context actions (simply having the tool in inventory is enough, don't have to be selected)
    - Highlight the tile for which the context menu is presented
    - Integrate combat to game
      - When engaging an animal present a confirmation box (engage, auto)
      - When animal engages player present a confirmation box (engage, auto)
      - Add autocombat functionality
    - Add back the actions list in the sidebar

Will mark items with a + and change the color once they are complete. Any new issues will also get added to the list. Tasks not completed within October get pushed into the next month's list.

i'm following this amazing project, playing and twitching, from 2014.

keep in touch Eigen, don't stop developing! :P

hi there,
maybe i have suggested this some weeks ago on a twitch session,

it could be nice to have:
1) an "add to basket shortcut" with double click on items (see buy_2click_1.png / buy_2click_2.png)
if you have money you can buy it. (with a key + mouse click you can open details - buy_2click_2.png)

2) a baloon on the next objective when in city or names on buildings (1_!.png)

Thanks for the comments!

1) Yup, a double click or a drag'n'drop solution would be much better in the shop window. Plannin to improve that.
2) Ah, you mean label what each of the buildigs are? Yeah, that's a good idea. An objective indicator (a bouncing ! or something) could also be useful.
